16 Days of Activism
Every year, Mothers’ Union takes part in the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence, calling for an end to violence against women and girls. Members often get involved in their local communities in various ways, by running activities, awareness raising, supporting those affected, and calling on decision makers to take action.
Resources for this year's events can be downloaded from the main Mothers' Union website. Alternatively, Viv Buckle of Campsea Ashe benefice MU has very kindly shared her material using sixteen pairs of shoes to reflect on aspects of abuse.
