Henley MU have launched a new project, “Faith At Home”, providing a take-home bag for each family at each month’s Families@4.30 service in the benefice. The bags contain activities, things to talk about and a prayer, all related to that month’s theme, to help take faith from the service and back into our homes.
The first month focuses on harvest, with bags including a dot-to-dot, wordsearch, a Bible story to watch and talk about, cress seeds to grow, and mung beans for beansprouts! There’s also a padlet when families can find extra copies of the resources, and a YouTube playlist so they can sing along at home to our favourite songs! Have a look here: https://padlet.com/FaithAtHome/HenleyMU.
The idea came from the Lent Course run by Henley MU earlier in 2025, looking at the “Love Matters” report and thinking about how to be more intentional in helping families to grow their faith. You can find the Lent Course here.
