Martlesham MU Friendship Group

Where we are

We meet on the first Wednesday morning of each month at 10.15am at St Michael's Church, Martlesham Heath.  We have about 12 members and meet informally.  After prayers and a reading we chat over coffee and biscuits.  We frequently have a quiz or a short talk, sometimes followed by lunch across the way at the Douglas Bader.  We hold a Christmas party and New Year Holy Communion.

Members are active in Church organisations including the Lunch Club, and we knit hats for seafarers.  We give Baptism cards to children baptised in the Benefice, and wedding cards to couples married in Church.  Our group is very friendly and warmly welcomes visitors and new members.

For more information please contact Sue Lambert 01473 624130 or Mary Stalley 01473 623752.
