Who we are

St Edmundsbury and Ipswich Mothers' Union Diocese is a charity in it's own right, but is also affiliated to the central Mothers' Union charity run from Mary Sumner House.  Across Suffolk we have many branches - groups of Mothers' Union members who meet regularly to pray and worship, fundraise for local, national and global projects and get involved in various activities supporting families in their local communities.

Suffolk is divided into three areas - Ipswich, North Suffolk and Sudbury - and each area has a number of deaneries as follows:

The Mothers' Union Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich is part of Canterbury Province.  Our Provincial President is Comfort Fearon.  The World-Wide President is Kathleen Snow from Canada.
