We have held three workshops this year, with East Bergholt, Fressingfield and Yoxmere Benefice branches, to make the 1,500 cards that will be needed this Christmas for all the prisoners at Highpoint. We have card blanks printed with a message from Mothers’ Union and we trim the pictures from used Christmas cards to glue on the front. The cards are checked and then delivered to Highpoint Prison for the staff to distribute to the prisoners.
Many MU members give us used cards and others help to glue the pictures onto the blanks. It is a team effort!
