Walton MU used the Mothers' Union order of service for Mothering Sunday - Branch Leader Wendy Fellingham said:
Beautiful Words - we used the Mothers' Union Mothering Sunday Order of Service for the first time this year. It was such a beautiful sensitive order of service that was much appreciated. Will certainly being doing it again next year.
Henley MU made gifts for the women's refuge in Ipswich. Susan Reeve reports:
In March Henley Mothers’ Union met, all together, in person for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. With Mothering Sunday approaching our activity was putting together baskets of toiletries and making gift cards to be delivered to the Women’s Refuge in Ipswich. Some of our members were not able to be there and were missed, but for those of us present it was so lovely to be in a room together once again enjoying fun and fellowship whilst putting into practice what it is to be ‘Mothers’ Union’.
