Our new group was started at the beginning of 2016 with a talk by our retiring Vicar's wife Sue Wakeling.

Our first enrolling service was led by our then Diocesan President Christine Ward when eight new members were enrolled and some of us welcomed from other branches. Since then more people have joined us and we have about thirty ladies. Until recently we also had two gentlemen, and any more would be warmly welcomed.  Our programme is a mixture of talks by Christian and charitable organisations, hands-on crafts, group singing, lots of friendly conversations and some sumptuous refreshments!

We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 2.30pm in our church hall.

This is our programme for 2026:

21st January         “News from Kagera” – Anji Dawkins
