Photo of Rendlesham MU's bannerRendlesham Mothers' Union has about 18 members ranging from new Mums to great-grandparents.  We meet on the third Wednesday of each month (except August) at Rendlesham Care Centre, where two of our members reside.  We have been meeting for about five years, and these meetings sometimes include a visiting speaker or discussing arrangements for local action, concluding with a time of prayer.

Local projects include: making 'Blessing Boxes' which are presented to Wedding couples and Baptismal families; Recipe Cards available at the Children's Centre; Christmas Gifts for Families; Mothering Sunday cards and posies; Parents' Groups.  Our AGM is in September and we try to have a Quiet Day each year.  We also hold services in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (January) and the MU Wave of Prayer (July). Not all our members are able to attend meetings but are involved in other ways.

Anyone is welcome to come and join our meetings, and new members are always welcome.  For more information, contact us by email or Rev. Janice Leaver in the first instance, on 01394 460547.
