We meet on the second Monday of each month, on Zoom or in person.  We usually plan an activity, such as a bible study, discussion, reflection or an MU activity resource, as well as worship and news.  Last summer we had small get togethers in members' gardens.  We held our annual Christmas party over Zoom - with Christmas jumpers and games and quizzes!

Highlights from previous years include a quiet afternoon at Otley Hall, visits to members' beach huts at Felixstowe and a Christmas Cribs display at Henley Christmas Fayre.  We have learnt about Dementia Friends, CCMP (Church and Community Mobilisation Project) in Tanzania and our MU link Diocese in Byumba.  We have regular cake sales to raise funds, and also give out our 'Little Blue Bags' to our congregation at St Peter's to collect their loose change, which usually raises over two hundred pounds for Mothers' Union projects.

Photo of Photo of MU display for Henley Flower FestivalWe are involved in several local projects - giving baptism cards to children baptised at Henley St Peter's Church, activity bags for children in Church and organising collections of items for the local foodbank (FIND), womens' refuge and the Ipswich Winter Night Shelter.  We also run free children's nativity themed craft activities at the Henley Christmas Fayre.

Visitors and new members are always very welcome, and you don't need to live or worship in Henley - we have members who live in Ipswich and neighbouring villages, and who attend different churches.
